2003-09-10 09:14 - ASK for Windows version 0.3.1a released
This release enhances AfW inbox processing and includes many small enhancements. The functionality of the inbox handling section has been enhanced significantly with the parsing of mime-encoded messages, and the addition of the ability to download attachments. Also, there is now a visual indication of a message's priority and whether it has been read or not.

Additionally, AfW can now (optionally) delete messages left on remote servers when they are deleted from your mail client. For example, with the right settings, if you delete a message in your mail client it's deleted from the AfW POP3 server. As well, AfW contacts the remote POP3 server from whence the message originated and deletes it there.

IMPORTANT:

This release of ASK for Windows moves the ASK distribution to a directory within the AfW distribution. If you are upgrading from a previous version of AfW, you'll need to be aware of a couple of additional steps in performing this particular upgrade. Please read the release notes before upgrading to AfW 0.3.1a.

This release adds inbox processing and a Windows installer version, along with many small enhancements. The functionality of the inbox handling section will expand with time, but currently you can see a list of all messages in your inbox, preview each one as desired, delete them individually or as a group, reply to messages or forward them. As well, you can create and send new messages in the same interface.

2003-08-16 15:31 - AfW web site launched
The first version of an ASK for Windows web site is now in place. Any feedback on this site would be appreciated.

2003-08-13 20:04 - ASK for Windows version 0.2.1a released
This release is to address some small but important documentation errors and omissions. As released previously, users may not have been able to set up ASK for Windows successfully following the instructions in the Quick Start Guide.

This release adds a paged queue listing and more detailed logging capabilities, along with many small enhancements.
